O.U.R. Mothers, Inc. Joins the 28th Annual Rainbow PUSH Wall Street Project
On March 31, 2025, Wanda Durant, President, and Jennifer Ivey, Vice President of O.U.R. Mothers, Inc., were honored to participate in the prestigious Rainbow PUSH Wall Street Project held at the New York Stock Exchange. Now in its 28th year, this Economic Inclusion Summit brought together leaders from over two dozen Fortune 500 companies and global financial institutions.
Founded by Reverend Jesse Jackson on January 15, 1997—Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday—the Wall Street Project is a call to action. It urges corporate America to close the multi-billion-dollar trade deficit with minority vendors and consumers, and to create equitable opportunities for diverse employees, entrepreneurs, and women. While Reverend Jackson typically attends, his health prevented him from joining this year.
A Day of Insight and Inspiration
The summit featured dynamic panels addressing real-world solutions for building economic growth in underrepresented communities. Speakers shared actionable strategies that are being implemented across industries to drive inclusion and opportunity.
A Powerful Message from Our President
Our own Wanda Durant delivered a moving and personal keynote address, sharing her financial journey with sincerity and passion. Her words struck a powerful chord with attendees, and she received a well-deserved standing ovation for her impactful message.
Thank You to Our Host
We extend heartfelt thanks to Cynthia DiBartolo, CEO and Founder of Tigress Financial Partners, for her leadership in organizing the summit and for inviting O.U.R. Mothers, Inc. to participate in such a meaningful event.
An Unforgettable Moment
Standing on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange and witnessing Wanda ring the Closing Bell was both exhilarating and humbling. The moment symbolized the strength and unity of women coming together to “PUSH” our communities toward financial legacy and power.
